This year, more than 14,500 four-year-olds will learn and grow in Alabama’s First Class Pre-K program. That’s an increase of more than 2,800 students over the previous school year! This growth was made possible by a $16 million increase in state investments in First Class Pre-K, approved by the Alabama Legislature and augmented by a federal Preschool Development Grant. Thank you for advocating for pre-k expansion. Your lawmakers heard you loud and clear!
